On Saturday, November 23, 2013 my son was shot in his head. The bullet entered the right side of his head and existed the life side leaving brain matter on his chest. He was given a 5-10 percent chance of survival. God breathe His Breath back into my son and he is alive today. When we wake up in the morning, we must always give God thanks and praise for His many blessings while we are alive.

In Psalm 63:1, David said, "Early (in the morning) will I seek thee." Abraham, Joshua, Moses were early risers, Jesus prayed early in the morning and David also prayed and worship God with songs of praises and thanksgiving early in the morning. One benefit of prayer, praise and worship in the morning is your mind is clear, your spirit is alert, you are still, at peace and you are not troubled by the issues of the day. There can be circumstances in our lives that can prevent us from seeking God in the early morning hours, but do not let circumstance control you.
